Looking for the perfect vacation spot? Glenwood Springs is a scenic three-hour drive west of Denver. It is a one and one-half hour drive east of Grand Junction, and halfway between famous neighbors Vail and Aspen.

For fun and activities, you’ll never be starved for things to do in Glenwood Springs. A Mecca for outdoor activities, there’s something for everyone in this Rocky Mountain hamlet. Some things that top the list of favorites include: the Glenwood Caverns; camping; hiking – short trips as well as scaling 12,000 – 14,000 foot peaks; and road and mountain biking – over 28 trails in the nearby vicinity alone. Other outdoor pursuits include: skiing of all varieties, snowmobiling, snowshoeing, year-round fishing, rafting and kayaking, and of course, swimming in the world famous Hot Springs Pool.

Glenwood Canyon near Glenwood Springs, Colorado is much more than a link in the inter-coastal highway, it has become an attraction in itself, drawing cyclists, rafters, hikers, train buffs and other visitors. Geological features such as towering quartzite cliffs, underground caverns and hanging valleys are just a few of the wonders that have visitors marveling at Mother Nature's handiwork.
