We assist in educational
programs, provide funding for research and historic
projects, and help provide staffing at park visitor
centers. We also provide a wide variety of books and
maps for sale in our visitor centers as well as through
our mail order service. Established in 1986, the Glen
Canyon Natural History Association has provided over
$500,000 in aid to the park. We have been able to do
this by the generous support of members and visitors
purchasing books from our retail outlets at the Carl
Hayden Visitor Center at the Glen Canyon Dam, near Page,
Arizona, at the Navajo Bridge Interpretive Center, near
Marble Canyon, Arizona, and at the Bullfrog Visitor
Center, near Bullfrog, Utah. In 2001, we saw over
800,000 visitors at these three visitor centers! Your continued support
will ensure future generations continue to enjoy Glen
Canyon National Recreation Area and Rainbow Bridge
National Monument. |
