Greater Zion is a destination that offers more than 2,400 square miles of adventure and inspiration and is located in the southwest corner of Utah (90 min north of Las Vegas). Our premier attraction is Zion National Park; the park’s majestic beauty and year round accessibility has made Zion the third most visited national park in the United States. Zion’s majestic diverse terrain of high plateaus, deep sandstone canyons and the Virgin River offers adventure for every age and ability including moderate, family friendly and wheelchair accessible trails. However, the park is most noted for its “Bucket List” hikes such as The Narrows and Angels Landing and is any photographers dream come true. Zion offers a free shuttle to transport you through the park, making stops at all the noted trailheads and the historic Zion Lodge; where you will find outstanding lodging accommodations, restaurants, gift shops, horseback rides and bicycle rentals. The resort town of Springdale is located at the doorstep and surrounded by Zion; incredible lodging, restaurants, art galleries and gift shops all with the most spectacular views. Guides and Outfitters are readily available to assist you with your favorite activities such as canyoneering, jeep/helicopter tours, horseback rides and e-bike rentals. Leave your car at the hotel and take the free town shuttle through town. Another section of Zion Kolob Terrace offers spectacular glamping experiences and activities. The city of St. George is merely 45 minutes south of Zion and the heart to some of the most beautiful country you will ever experience. Great hiking can be found in Snow Canyon State Park and water sports are enjoyed at Sand Hollow, Gunlock and Quail Creek State Parks. World class sporting events, mountain biking, 13 golf courses, Tuacahn Outdoor Amphitheater (Broadway caliber shows) as well as great hotels, unique shopping and tasty dinning all call St. George home.
